Every Order Makes a Difference

Our tableware starts as agricultural waste and ends as soil. Here's the material behind it, how it's made, and the standards it meets.

The Material

What is Bagasse?

Sugarcane bagasse is the dry fibrous residue left after sugarcane stalks are crushed to extract juice. Instead of burning it — which releases CO₂ — we compress and mould it into tableware that is stronger than paper, lighter than plastic, and fully compostable.

  • Made from an agricultural by-product — no trees cut, no virgin resources
  • No plastic, no synthetic coatings, no PFAS lining
  • Returns to the soil as nutrients within 90 days

The Journey

From Field to Compost

01

Sugarcane Harvest

Sugarcane is grown and harvested across Maharashtra and neighbouring states.

02

Juice Extraction

Mills extract juice for sugar production, leaving behind fibrous bagasse pulp.

03

Pulp Processing

Bagasse is cleaned, pulped and prepared for moulding.

04

Heat Moulding

Pulp is pressed into moulds under heat and pressure, forming strong tableware.

05

Quality Testing

Every batch is tested for food safety, structural integrity and compostability.

06

Back to Earth

After use, products compost within 90 days — returning nutrients to the soil.
